Athletic Gear to Sport Luxe

The 1980s was full of bright and colorful fashion. From leg warmers to shoulder, the 80s had many different types of fashion. One of the biggest ones was "athletic wear." Wearing clothes that belong in the gym became a trend outside the gym.

According to Classic80s.com, the 80s track suits, head and wrist bands, sneakers made by Adidas and Reebok came out of the gym and onto the streets.

Now this style is back in fashion. Many big name designer in the past couple of years have collections with athletic wear.

Sport Luxe is clothing can be flexible, flattering, and unusually for fashion, comfy. A laid back casual styles, mixed with leather and mesh is the ideal way to capture the sports luxe trend that is huge for spring/summer 2014. The usual items are oversized tees and sweatshirts, bomber jackets, track pants and caps.

The main material is jersey and/or any material that is breathable. Some designers have actually used leather and silk in their sport luxe designs.
