I've looked through my 3 sources: Kpopstarz; Kfashionista; and Mwave again; and picked my top 5. In no order.

4minute's Hyuna went for preppy look. A grey dress with a flare skirt and a polka blouse underneath top with a short black vest.

3. Girls' Generation Tiffany

Girls' Generation Tiffany is wearing a wool coat with long button shirt underneath a tan sweater over it and she is black wedge ankle boots.

4. 2PM's Wooyoung

2PM's Wooyoung is wearing a long Moschino varsity jacket and leather pants. He is also wearing white top studded sneakers.

5. Actress Han Groo

Despite the cold, Korean actress Han Groo wore a black mini dress with six inch black ankle boots. She also wore a vest coat with a faux fur collar.

These are my picks for this week!!

Me-Ality Machine

This video is about the Me-Ality Machine. I went to the Bloomingdale's in Santa Monica for the jean machine. I asked my mother to try it for the first time and then asked her reaction. I also asked an employee to demonstrate how the machine works from the beginning to the end. The Me-Ality is basically a body scan machine that figures out the size of a person who steps into it. The machine scans the person and then gives information of the perfect jean size, the cut, the fabric, and the designer from the store it is located in. In the video, the Me-Ality machine is located in the Bloomingdales of the Santa Monica Promenade. When the information prints out, the size, the cuts, the fabric, and the designers are from the Bloomingdale's stores. I do not own the instrumental. The 1980s was full of bright and colorful fashion. From leg warmers to shoulder, the 80s had many different types of fashion. One of the biggest ones was "athletic wear." Wearing clothes that belong in the gym became a trend outside the gym.

According to Classic80s.com, the 80s track suits, head and wrist bands, sneakers made by Adidas and Reebok came out of the gym and onto the streets.

Now this style is back in fashion. Many big name designer in the past couple of years have collections with athletic wear.

This style is no longer called athletic wear. In the fashion world it is called "Sport Luxe."

 Sport Luxe is basically sportswear and fitness inspired outfits and fashion.

How to wear it?

Sport Luxe is clothing can be flexible, flattering, and unusually for fashion, comfy. A laid back casual styles, mixed with leather and mesh is the ideal way to capture the sports luxe trend that is huge for spring/summer 2014. The usual items are oversized tees and sweatshirts, bomber jackets, track pants and caps.

What is the material?

The main material is jersey and/or any material that is breathable. Some designers have actually used leather and silk in their sport luxe designs.

Airport Fashion of The Week: Top 5

Actor Minho Lee, Girls' Generation's Yoona and Jessica

Here is another week of stylish "Airport Fashion." I've looked through my 3 sources: Kpopstarz; Kfashionista; and Mwave; and picked my top 5. In no order.

1. Shinee's Minho

Shinee's Minho in Japanese airport returning to Korea

Shinee's Minho went for a preppy look. It looks stylish and comfortable. According to Kfashionista, he is wearing a Comme de Garcons Play embroidered heart sweater worn over a white collared shirt and dark pants. The singers bag is a Couronne C-QUATRE backpack in black. This is a fresh look matched with the essential item, sunglasses.

2. T-ara's Qri

T-ara's Qri

Another preppy look, T-ara's Qri looks very stylish and chic.She was wearing Haculla/Ron Herman Soho Pullover Sweater with a white blouse underneath and white shorts. Her accessories helped her look as well. The sunglasses, the thigh high black socks, and ankle boots. Qri also has a Chanel’s Hampton WOC bag from 2013. 

3. T-ara' Jiyeon

Jiyeon also wearing a sweater. She is wearing a very comfortable style at the airport. The singer Acne Studios Beta Flocked Sweatshirt paired with black leggings. Her accessories are the sunglasses and black and clutch.

4. Apink's Bomi

Bomi once again makes my list. A more sporty casual look. She wore a Tomboy Baseball Jumper over animal print t-shirt and ripped shorts. She was carrying  a C-QUATRE Quilted Clutch from COURONNE, the same collection from Shinee Minho's backpack. Bomi of course is wearing the key airport fashion item sunglasses.

5. Shinee's Jonghyun

Shinee's Jonghyun was wearing a more comfortable style, but fashionable. He was wearing a SAM MC London Sharp Teeth Sweatshirt with skinny torn jeans at the knee. He was also wearing Tom Ford sunglasses and a Bowller White Convex Snapback. His shoes Rick Owens Black and White Geobasket High-top Sneakers . Even with the white mask he looks fashionable.

Being one of my top 5 favorite designers in the world, Oscar de La Renta's designs showcase that you can dress as royalty at any time you like with sophistication. He appealed to every young adult women, like myself, to elderly women as well. He was a true inspiration for a women's style.

I've always dreamed of my wedding to be Oscar de La Renta. His romantic designs flourished in bridal apparel.

From the Grammy's to the Academy Awards to the Met Gala, at least one or two women of Hollywood would have one of his gowns on. They immediately on the Best Dress list. On the red carpet, Oscar de La Renta is always a top choice.

Airport Fashion of The Week: Top 5

Girl's Generation's Seohyun, Members from the group EXO, and CL from the girl group 2NE1 at the International Airport in South Korea

Since "Airport Fashion" is a huge issue in South Korea, many website have dedicated sections or photos on they websites for Korean celebrities to showcase their fashion sense. On the website Kpopstarz, which is dedicated to showing news in Korean music, film/TV and other Korean entertainment.

There are also other website, that will mostly be seen throughout the blog, that give opinions and ratings. On Mwave, the are albums of photos from Korean celebrities at the airport and on each album there is a total of 3 stars for the rating of the fashion. A full 3 stars means that the fashion and styling was good. On Kfashionista, photos of Korean celebrities at the airport are shown almost every week.

The idol gave a stylish vibe from the grunge era. She wore a floral/feminine dress with a ribbed leather motorcycle jacket. She also paired it with cute leather ankle boots. Her handbag seemed to quilted in a box clutch size. To complete the entire style of "Airport Fashion" she had the number 1 item, sunglasses. This is one of the reasons why the album she was featured in with her member received 3 stars from Mwave.

It is a bright and refreshing look. While everyone is in dark and moody colors for fall, such as black. It was nice to see someone wearing bright colors and standing out from the crowd. According to Kfashionista, it is an Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott Logo Hoodie. A bright yellow Adidas sweatshirt with white shorts and a black shoulder bag. It might be a simple look, but it was different from everyone else in this season.

This is kind of a quirky side of airport fashion. On Kfashionista, Bomi is wearing a Real Boy tee while carrying clutch that has Mickey Mouse’s pooch Pluto on the side. These are both from Korean designer Jain Song's collaboration with Disney. The jacket is in an Indian Star Jacket from Tomboy. She is also wearing torn denim blue jeans and white low top sneakers. This is a cute style in a casual way.

EXO's D.O. & Suho:

Since there both wearing the same sweater, I put them both. The turtleneck sweater is very in for the fall and the style is very fashionable. Both knitwear pieces are from the Korean Brand Liful, a brand that D.O. often wears. D.O. is wearing the Navy Classic Turtleneck and Suho is wearing Ivory version with a gray stripe. These sweaters are perfect for the autumn weather, as stated by Kfashionista.

Girls' Generation Seohyun:

This outfit would have to be my favorite. It is very stylish and very now. According to Kfashionista.com, Seohyun is wearing a chain striped knit dress from a Korean brand called Johnny Hates Jazz, with a Vivienne Westwood shoulder bag, and leather knee high boots. Last but not least she has dark sunglasses. It is very comfortable and chic at the same time.

The 1920s and the 1930s were years of the new woman in fashion. They were the years that the woman gave up the restricted clothing, such as corsets, and went for a more comfortable clothing like short skirts or trousers/suits. The fashions were sophisticated and yet sexy at the same time. Even though it was a new era of style, many women were reluctant in trying the new style.

When & Why?

During the early 1920s, the sophisticated fashion of the modern woman was created. It also showed the fashion of the party girls in the Roaring 20s. In famous movies, such as the The Great Gatsby, displayed the great fashion of the 1920s. Those years were also the uprising of fashion design. Famous Parisian designer Coco Chanel was one of the fashion pioneers in the 1920s to the 1950s.

Coco Chanel created an entire era of fashion all on her own. She had simple styles, but they were new to the 1920s. This made it fashionable. She used jersey material often in here designs, including the most famous one out of them all, "the little black dress." Not only did she create a simple dress but she created a style as well by draping white pearl necklaces with the dress. According Chaos Magazine, Chanel was not only a avid designer but a "fashionista" as well. She added accessories, with hats and pearls, then made a complete outfit from a simple one. "Dress shabbily and they remember the dress; dress impeccably and they remember the woman" Coco Chanel.  

What Now?

Many designers have gone back to the 1920s and payed homage to that era with inspired clothing. Designers such as Ralph Lauren love the 1920s. He did not only one, but two 1920s inspired lines.

What are the type of looks?

There are four different ways of wearing 20s fashion. There is the feminine casual woman. The style is loose and has a comfortableness to it.

Then the masculine casual woman, which is more boxy and in either suits or trouser/sweaters.

Then there is the party girl of the 1920s. This is girl is also known as the "Flapper Girl". According to the 1920s Fashion and Music era, the "Flapper Girl" is the first true "American Girl."

Then last is the glamorous look. This is the long gowns in silk and beads with dazzling headpieces.

What are the key points?

Loose fitting clothes or flowing dresses is one point of dressing like the 1920s. The material also has to be a point as well. It is usually jersey or cotton for more sophisticated look. Then silk for a more glamour and sexy look. For the Flapper Girls there are a lot beads or feathers on the dress. The shoes are short in the heels such the ones from Fashion Leak.

Ralph Lauren displayed all of these in his 2012 spring runway show. Since the outfits are simple, they are always paired accessories. They are usually cloche hats, necklaces (usually pearls), and bold head pieces (bands).

Is it here to stay?

Current CHANEL designer, Karl Lagerfeld, had said it best, "One is never over -or underdressed with a little black dress" to Glamour Magazine in 2011. He gave homage to his predecessor's achievement of making every woman comfortable and fashionable at the same time. The fact that these fashions are simple makes it even easier for women to dress with style.
